FROM  EGYPT TO  PALESTINE 
The Impact of Poetry on Middle Eastern Revolutions

For 18 days in Tahrir Square, people performed poetry 
to crystallize a momentous time and to keep the spirits of the protesters alive.

This is just the latest instance of a long history of revolutionary poetry in the Middle East.
